Contractors and Tradesman

For many years Lakes Area Sharpening has been doing work for contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, cabinet makers, and manufacturers. It’s tough to do quality work if your tools are not sharp.

Dull tools also shorten the life span of equipment used by tradesman. Quick turn around is also important.

At Lakes Area Sharpening we pick up and deliver every Tuesday and Friday. Items dropped off before Tuesday at our Alexandria Hilltop drop off location, or at the Country Store in Alexandria, will be ready for pick-up on Friday or visa versa. Items dropped off at the 2 other Hilltop locations will take longer due to transport. If you are not a Hilltop customer and would like to make other arrangements, please call 320-766-5996.

Pick up and delivery to your location can also be arranged for larger orders.

In any case the goal is always to get your tools back to you as quickly as possible.
